Alluvial Aquifer Water Research Center

Location: Stoneville, MS.

Deadline to Apply: Once the positions are announced there will only be a ten day window to accept applications.

A new water research center is being developed by the Agricultural Research Service (USDA) in cooperation with Mississippi State University Delta Research and Extension Center (MSU-DREC) in Stoneville, MS. The new Alluvial Aquifer Water Research Center will be staffed by at least four MSU scientists and seven ARS scientists. This interdisciplinary group will address regional agricultural concerns and are strongly supported by active stakeholder groups including the Delta Council.

    To fill its research cadre ARS plans to soon recruit the following positions, with one of the listed discipline below serving as the research leader of the ARS unit at the Alluvial Aquifer Water Research Center:
